Aldi Stores Limited have completed the purchase of The Former Buffer Depot, Stafford Road, Stone, for redevelopment to provide a new supermarket outlet. The soon-to-be-demolished property provides a single-storey warehouse building extending to 25,000 sq.ft. (2,322.58 sq.m.) on a 1.25 acre (0.51 hectare) site enjoying a prominent frontage to the A34 on the south side of the town centre. Millar Sandy acted for the vendor, R D H Properties. Richard Rae and Company represented the purchaser.
